The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, often leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.

But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one organization is benefiting from the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
